Ariel Emanuel is Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor (NYSE: EDR), a global sports and entertainment company comprised of industry-leading brands including WME, IMG and UFC.

David Brancaccio is the host and senior editor of Marketplace Morning Report. Airing five times each morning, his reporting focuses on the future of the economy, financial and labor markets, technology, the environment and social enterprises.

In the early 1990s, David was Marketplace’s European correspondent based in London, and he hosted Marketplace’s evening program from 1993 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, he co-anchored the PBS television news magazine Now with journalist Bill Moyers before taking over as the program’s solo anchor in 2005. His feature-length documentary film, Fixing the Future, appeared in theaters nationwide in 2012. Among his awards for broadcast journalism are the Peabody, the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia, the Cronkite and the Emmy.

He has appeared on CBS, CNBC, MSNBC and BBC World Service Television; his written work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Baltimore Sun and The Guardian. David is author of the book Squandering Aimlessly, an exploration of how Americans apply their personal values to their money. He also hosts the Esquire Classic podcast with Esquire magazine.

David has a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in journalism from Stanford University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, Mary Brancaccio, a poet and educator. He grew up in Waterville, Maine, and also attended schools in Madagascar, Ghana and Italy. He enjoys public speaking, bicycling and photography.

Dr. Lisa T. Su is AMD president and chief executive officer, a position she has held since October 2014, and serves on the AMD Board of Directors.

Previously, from July 2014 to October 2014, she was chief operating officer responsible for integrating AMD’s business units, sales, global operations and infrastructure enablement teams into a single market-facing organization responsible for all aspects of product strategy and execution. Dr. Su joined AMD in January 2012 as senior vice president and general manager, global business units and was responsible for driving end-to-end business execution of AMD products and solutions.

Prior to joining AMD, Dr. Su served as senior vice president and general manager, Networking and Multimedia at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. (a semiconductor manufacturing company), and was responsible for global strategy, marketing and engineering for the company’s embedded communications and applications processor business. Dr. Su joined Freescale in 2007 as chief technology officer, where she led the company’s technology roadmap and research and development efforts.

Dr. Su has bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has published more than 40 technical articles and was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers in 2009.

In 2018, Dr. Su was elected to the National Academy of Engineering and received the Global Semiconductor Association’s Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award. In 2019, Dr. Su was named one of the World’s 50 Best CEOs by Barron’s, one of the “Most Powerful Women in Business” by Fortune Magazine and she was included in The Bloomberg 50 list of people who defined the year. In 2020, Fortune named Dr. Su #2 on its “Business Person of the Year” list.

Pedro Martinez began his tenure as CEO of Chicago Public Schools on September 29, 2021.

Born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Mr. Martinez came to Chicago with his family at the age of five in search of a better life. The oldest of 12 children, his CPS journey began as a student on Chicago’s west side, and he credits the education he received in our district’s schools with changing the trajectory of his life.

A proud graduate of Benito Juarez in the Pilsen community, CEO Martinez was the first in his family to graduate from high school and college, and he chose to dedicate his life to education, eventually returning to the school system of his youth as CPS’ Chief Financial Officer from 2003 – 2009.

Prior to joining CPS, CEO Martinez served as the Superintendent of the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD). And, before that, he served as superintendent for the Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada.

CEO Martinez earned his M.B.A. from DePaul University in Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois. He is also a graduate of the Broad Superintendent Academy.

Brandis Friedman is the Emmy-winning co-anchor and correspondent for Chicago Tonight, and the host of Chicago Tonight: Black Voices, both on Chicago’s PBS affiliate, WTTW. Her reporting on education and criminal justice has appeared on PBS’ NewsHour and NPR’s The Takeaway. Before joining Chicago Tonight, Brandis worked as a reporter and anchor for WBBM Newsradio 780, and as a producer/reporter for WJLA-TV/ABC-7 in Washington, DC. In addition to earning three regional Emmy Awards for her work in DC, she has earned multiple Peter Lisagor Awards, recognizing excellence in journalism, from the Chicago Headline Club, and multiple Emmy nominations.

Originally from Mississippi, Brandis’ work has taken her to numerous cities including Kansas City, Missouri, Little Rock, Arkansas and Wichita Falls, Texas. She has served on the board of the Chicago Headline Club, which is the local chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and is a member of the Education Writers Association and National Association of Black Journalists.

Brandis is a graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans, where she earned a degree in Mass Communications, and Columbia University in New York City, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Journalism. Brandis lives in Evanston with her husband and two sons.

Jane Fraser is the Chief Executive Officer of Citi, the world’s most global bank, serving millions of consumers, businesses and institutions across 160 countries and jurisdictions. She is the first female CEO in the firm’s history.

Jane has deep experience across Citi’s consumer and institutional businesses and, in many ways, she helped shape Citi into the company it is today. Before becoming CEO in February 2021, she was President of Citi and CEO of the Global Consumer Bank, responsible for all of Citi’s Consumer businesses, including Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Credit Cards, Mortgage and Operations and Technology in 19 markets.

Before that, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Latin America from 2015 to 2019. From 2013 to 2015, she was the Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Consumer and Commercial Banking and CitiMortgage. From 2009 to 2013, Jane served as the Chief Executive Officer of Citi’s Global Private Bank. Prior, Jane was the Global Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions for Citi from 2007 to 2009. She joined Citi in 2004 in the Corporate and Investment Banking division.

Before joining Citi, Jane was a Partner at McKinsey & Company. She started her career at Goldman Sachs in the Mergers & Acquisitions department in London and then worked for Asesores Bursátiles in Madrid, Spain.

She is Vice Chair for Partnership for New York City and a member of the Harvard Business School’s Board of Dean’s Advisors, the Stanford Global Advisory Board, the Economic Club of New York and the Council on Foreign Relations. Jane has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an M.A. in economics from Cambridge University. She is married with two children.

Debra A. Cafaro has been Venta’s Inc., Chief Executive Officer and a director since 1999 and Chairman of its Board of Directors since 2003. Her father, Jim, was a newspaperman, and her mother, Rose, was an elementary school teacher who continued teaching until she was 70.

Senator Mitt Romney was sworn in as Utah’s newest senator on January 3, 2019. He currently
serves on the Foreign Relations; Health, Education, Labor & Pensions; Homeland Security &
Government Affairs; and Small Business & Entrepreneurship committees. He is chairman of the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, and Counterterrorism.
Senator Romney is also a member of the Senate National Security Working Group.

Before entering public service, he led a successful business career as the co-founder of Bain
Capital, a leading investment company, and the turnaround CEO of Bain & Company, an
international management consulting firm.

Prior to serving as the Governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007, Senator Romney led the
