The Program Committee secures the speakers for ECC's four black-tie dinner meetings. Occasionally, the Program Committee will convene special meetings for members when notable or timely opportunities arise.

The Forums Committee plans three forum meetings, which are subject-driven programs often featuring a panel of speakers, and ECC's annual Fifth Night, which celebrates a cultural or educational institution in Chicago.

The Membership Committee is comprised of approximately 65 members serving on ten subcommittees and is responsible for screening all candidates that members submit for consideration.

Membership Engagement Chair

The Member Engagement Committee is an ad-hoc, advisory committee, whose role is to provide oversight on the organization’s engagement strategy which includes reviewing analytical data gathered by the Club, identifying new initiatives to enhance programming and member experience, and exploring new strategies to attract and retain top leaders.

The Questions Committee is comprised of both standing and ad hoc members who meet before Club meetings to formulate thoughtful and provocative questions to be asked of speakers.

Reception Chair

The Reception Committee meets, greets and assists ECC members and guests at Club meetings. Committee members serve as hosts or hostesses and are responsible for the smooth functioning of meetings by promoting hospitality and punctuality.

Young Leaders Chair

The Young Leaders Committee plans quarterly Young Leadership Forums, which provide an opportunity for ECC members 45 years and younger to meet with senior leaders of the community to learn about their business and civic leadership experiences.
