Michael Krauss is Co-Founder of Market Strategy Group, a business advisory services firm. He is a veteran business advisor, moderator, organizational coach, board member and investor with over 40 years of professional experience.
Michael has held leadership roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture [NYSE: ACN]), OmniTech Consulting Group and Diamond Technology Partners [NASDQ: DTPI]. He served as a board member of Ellerbe Becket, the global architecture and engineering services organization prior to its acquisition by AECOM [NYSE: ACM].
Michael serves on the advisory board of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago and as a judge and board member of the Chicago Innovation Awards. He co-chaired Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley’s Council of Technology Advisors and is a former business columnist for the Chicago SunTimes and for Marketing News. He is a director of the Economic Club of Chicago and a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has taught on the faculty of the New Products Lab at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He earned a CPA certificate in the State of Illinois.
