Sally Grimes is the Chief Executive Officer of Clif Bar & Company, a leading maker of nutritious and organic foods. As CEO, she is responsible for leading the family and employee-owned company which operates with a Five Aspirations business model to sustain its people, community, planet, brands and business.
Prior to joining Clif Bar, Sally was Group President of Prepared Foods for Tyson Foods, the largest food company in North America. In that role, she was responsible for $10 billion of the company’s revenue and over 25,000 team members. Sally also previously served as the company’s Chief Global Growth Officer, President of International and President of Retail. She joined Tyson through the acquisition of The Hillshire Brands Company, where she served as Chief Innovation Officer. Before Hillshire, Sally served as Global Vice President of Marketing for Sharpie at Newell Rubbermaid. She also held several roles during her time in brand management at Kraft Foods.
Sally has been recognized by leading business publications including being named one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women to Watch and one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. She was also recognized by Crain’s Business as one of The Most Powerful Women in Chicago Business. Sally currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Midtown Educational Foundation. She received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
