David Axelrod
David Axelrod is a preeminent American political strategist and commentator and the former chief strategist and senior advisor to President Barack Obama. Axelrod was the founding director of the University of Chicago's non-partisan Institute of Politics. He currently serves as a Distinguished Fellow at the University of Chicago and as a senior political commentator for CNN. He is the host of The Axe Files, a top-rated podcast featuring in-depth conversations with public figures across the political spectrum. A former political writer for the Chicago Tribune, Axelrod produced media strategy and advertising for 150 campaigns across the U.S., culminating in President Obama’s historic elections. Axelrod is also the author of The New York Times best-selling memoir, Believer: My Forty Years in Politics.

Bill Kristol
William Kristol is editor-at-large of The Bulwark, where he’s lead author of the must-read daily newsletter, Morning Shots. Kristol is also founding director of Defending Democracy Together, an educational and advocacy organization dedicated to defending America’s liberal democratic norms, principles, and institutions. Kristol has long been a leading participant in and analyst of American politics. He founded the Weekly Standard in 1995 and edited the influential conservative magazine for over two decades. Before that, he served in senior positions in the Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush Administrations. Prior to coming to Washington in 1985, Mr. Kristol taught politics at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University. He received his A.B. and Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Peggy Collins
Margaret Collins, known as Peggy, is the Washington bureau chief and executive editor of U.S. economy and government coverage for Bloomberg News. Previously, she oversaw the U.S. Economy team through the pandemic and was team leader of investing coverage in the U.S. Prior to those roles, Collins was a reporter covering topics such as retirement savings, tax policy, wealth management and family offices. She’s been with the company since 2009. Before joining Bloomberg, Collins was a multimedia editor for MSN’s money channel and a reporter for the Bergen Record newspaper in New Jersey. Collins holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and bachelor’s from the College of the Holy Cross.
